Forum on Airport and Air Pollution held

Los Angeles City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl will moderate a public forum tonight held in light of the results of a recently released UCLA air monitoring study detailing the impacts of air pollution emitted from the Santa Monica Airport into surrounding residential neighborhoods.

Here's the panel:

Los Angeles City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl
Los Angeles City Councilmember Jan Perry
Assemblymember Ted Lieu

Professor Suzanne Paulson, UCLA
Bill Piazza, LAUSD

When: Monday, January 11, 2010 7:00 p.m.
Where: St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 11555 National Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90064

Featured speakers will be Professor Suzanne Paulson, lead scientist for the recently published UCLA air monitoring study on aircraft emission impacts into North Westdale; and Bill Piazza, Los Angeles Unified School
District, Office of Environmental Health and Safety, who prepared the 1999 LAUSD risk assessment on the downwind extent of emissions from Santa Monica Airport.

The forum is sponsored by the North Westdale Neighborhood Association and Concerned Residents Against Airport Pollution. The public will have an opportunity to comment and ask questions.

Anyone got anything to report from it?
